Samantha has been doing so well at school. She is so proud of all the things she has done when we pick her up. She will sing us a song that she learned at school. The other day it was about a duck, a frog, and a bee. lol. quite entertaining on the way home. With Halloween coming around the corner they are starting to introduce some of the things that makes halloween. Yesterday she came home with a bat she made at school. She is very proud of it and it hangs from our ceiling fan in the dining room. I love how much she is enjoying it all.
Hunter has been an entertaining little boy lately too. He has learned to blow raspberries on his sissy, dad, and mommy's bellys. He thinks that is the funniest thing ever. He has been gradually walking more and more each day. Now he will walk along the wall in the hallway and he has actually gotten quite quick. He has also been growing like a weed. I bought some sleepers for him a few weeks ago and they were huge on him. Now they are getting tight. He is also eating a ton. Last night he ate his dinner plus some of ours. I think he is catching up to all the other babies his age this month. I still need to get his costume going and done so I am not rushing. So much to do and so little time.

It is almost Holiday Season
Our house keeps smelling like the Holidays lately. The fall weather has hit and Kristin is staying busy making Halloween costumes for the kiddos and cooking great tasting and smelling food. There are two Pumpkin Pies sitting on the counter at home as I type that I can not wait to dive into.
Our new neighbors are going to have to go on a diet soon because Kristin keeps showing her new ideas and recipes to make treats and dinner. I do not hear them complaining though.
I made some yummy cupcakes the other day but the frosting job I did left something to be desired. They tasted great but looked like a inexperienced cook did it.
I can't wait for Kristin to get through the rest of the recipes she has been wanting to try. I have a feeling it is going to be yummy Holiday Season.

Hunter's almost walking!!
Little man is trying so hard to walk and he is almost there. He has taken a few steps at a time. The most at once has been 5. I still can't believe he is just over a year old. Time has flown by and I miss all the cuddles from him. He is such a curious little man that he has no time for cuddles. He also learned today that if he rubs his head against the closet door it makes a funny noise. He is easily entertained.
Samantha surprisingly has only asked a couple times about school. She really enjoyed it and keeps showing me the book she made at school. She keeps hoping a school bus will come and pick her up. She is going to do great when she is old enough to ride a bus.

Samantha's first day of preschool

When she went to bed last night her last words before falling off to sleep were "I'm ready to go to school!". Needless to say she was super excited when this morning finally came.
She was up and watching t.v. before my alarm clock went off this morning. When I got up Samantha just wanted to get dressed for School and go on the bus.
I think she thought she had to take a bus to school since the older kids in the neighborhood take a bus to school. So i explained I was going to be the Daddy Bus and she said okay.
She fell asleep on the ride over to her Preschool but woke up as we got close. She remembered the building from when we went and checked it out a couple weeks ago.
I expected her to get all shy and maybe not want to stay by herself since today was her first day. As soon as we walked in she dropped her bag and jacket and started talking to another little girl like she had been there a hundred times.
The shyness came after a couple other little girls started crying. I think Samantha did not know why they were crying so she felt uncomfortable. That only lasted five minutes or so and then the teacher got out a puzzle and distracted Samantha. Once another little girl brought over a bucket full of stuffed animals Samantha was in heaven.
A few minutes later Samantha turned to me and gave me a hug and said "Okay Daddy go home and sleep with Mommy". With that I decided it was time to leave and said good bye.
Hunter loved having the house and Mommy and Daddy to himself all afternoon. He was happier than I have seen him for a while. We got a lot of quality play time accomplished today.
Hunter when down for a nap just before I had to leave to go get Samantha. Now I know he loves his Sister but when I said "When you get up your Sissy will be home." He rolled over and pulled the blanket off his head and said what sounded just like "ohh no!" as he glared at me, he then rolled back over and went to sleep.
I pulled up to pick up Samantha and she spotted her "Car Ride" as she calls it from the window. When I walked in she ran over as she was yelling "DADDY!" and hugged my leg. I thought oh no she must have hated it and missed her Daddy the whole time. Well that thought went flying out of my head when she immediatly said "Okay bye, I go play now".
The teachers said she did great and loved it and after we did a successful search of the entire premise of the Preschool for her Chipmunk she had brought she said good bye to everyone and we left for the day.
She told me in the car she can't wait until she gets to come back to school. She goes to school two days a week so her next day will be next Tuesday.
